Welcome to Power Jive

Powerjive classes are on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm for beginners and 8.30pm for improvers. We also hold socials the last Tuesday of every month from 7.30 - 10.30pm, everyone is welcome to join us. We hold these evenings at Drax Village Hall, Castle Lane, Drax, Nr Selby.

We have been dancing together 6 1/2 years, we love lots of different dance music from pop to latin, jazz to r&b and everything in between. Our favourite style of dance is Modern Jive.

We like to use all different types of dance style, technique and music to help people become great dancers, using FUN as a basis for learning.

We recently invited Mark & Jo from Easydance Sheffield to a social evening and it was a brilliant, fun evening with everyone laughing and joining in.

We are extremely versatile and listen to what the 'audience' want - if you prefer a specific type of music let us know so we can play what you like. We are friendly, happy people, with great friends and group of helpers. Come along to a class or social, you won't be disappointed
